i had a dream that i returned my guitar hero II game for 360 but i threw it?
the dream started out that i bought guitar hero and i returned it but when i did i only returned the disc even though it was scratched (which it is in real life) so i kept the guitar controller but when i got to my friends house i went to the park and threw it off this giant hill into the woods but then i ran after it because i wanted to sell it on ebay????
now, this dream COULD just be about how you feel about guitar hero – i’ll assume that you like the game and are not too happy that it’s scratched already. it COULD just be relating the following stream of emotions/actions -
excitement
disappointment
want to return part of it b/c it wasn’t up to your standards
but keep part of it until you feel more secure
then you feel like sending even the part you kept far away
knowing you will go after it to get back some of the energy you put inbut… and this may be a stretch… the cd itself has a fairly yonic appearance (the hole in it possibly representing a vagina) which could mean that that is representing a particular woman or women in general.
the guitar itself is fairly phallic (as in shaped like a penis) so it could represent your sexuality or feelings about sex in general.
if that interpretation resonates with you, i’d say it’s possible this dream is talking about your personal feelings about sex in general or a relationship you have or desire to have with a woman – either a real-life woman (and it could be a woman with whom you have NO sexual relationship – your mother, sister, or another relative, or a friend) or a fantasy woman or women in general.
so if we follow the same emotions/action list that applies if the dream is ONLY about guitar hero, the dream might be saying something like…
it hasn’t turned out to be all you thought it would be – or it was great at first but has since deteriorated. you either have or are thinking of terminating the relationship or the physically intimate part of the relatinoship. if you are not in a relationship and have not been, it may be talking about your expectations that women (or a particular woman) would be more interested in you – and you are so frustrated that you’re thinking of writing women off in general.
keeping the controller, in this context, could be saying that you are not so willing to throw away your hopes and dreams in the sexual realm, though sometimes you might feel like distancing yourself from those feeling, you also intuitively feel that you should hold on to it because of the hope that you will find someone to have a meaningful sexual exchange with.
