Dating a seagull guitar?
I just bought an old used seagull guitar from a local shop, and can’t seem to figure out when it was made. It’s model is SM6, appears to be fairly old, some of the dot inlays are yellow, and it’s pretty charactered. The only info I found on dating by serial number regarded an 8 digit number. This one only has four, and it doesn’t appear as if some of the numbers have faded- just four. If it helps, the rosette design is simple- just a brown circle with a yellow (or it may actually be white) line following the middle. Some of the more recent one’s I’ve seen have more intricate designs. Thanks to anyone who answers.

4)appreciation for guitars much older than youwithout these 4 things, dating your seagull guitar cant work. You’re in for a very complicated relationship, friend…I mean, inanimate objects are cool and everything, but their STD : worth it ratio just isn’t good enough. I mean, its like a prostitute. They aren’t worth the diseases if they’re not bloody incredible.
