Ok, I’m wondering, what’s the funniest, or weirdest pickup line that you have ever heard? One time this guy said to me, ” Hey, you got a sexy butt. Ya know, your a fine piece of white chocolate.” So I’m wondering about pickup lines that you have heard of, or that people used on you, if you would like to share.
Funniest situation, though not the funniest line – few years ago in the city – small Irish bar – I was there with two girls I used to work with and there was a group of 7 or 8 young guys, drinking a lot of beer and being major rowdy. One of them kept staring at me, walked over and talked to us for a bit, still staring at me the whole time, obviously completely drunk, then left (couldn’t hear a word he said – THEN). About 15 minutes latter, all of the sudden, in the loudest voice possible, still staring at me, he says “My fantasy is to go home with a hot blonde with long hair and big b***s and have her ****” – the rest was about 2 minutes of totally graphic sexual detail which would definitely get me deleted from Y!A. My God, the whole bar went silent after the first half sentence, you could have heard a pin drop. The silence just hung there after he finished – and then I said something like “Wow, tempting, but I’ve already met my quota for the year on having sex with a total stranger, which is, let me think, oh yeah, zero. Well, enough about me”. And, then, you know, leaving suddenly seemed like a good idea. Naturally, my so called friends told all our other friends and it got back to the guys we worked with – who all started calling me “Fantasy Girl”, not to mention the emails and jokes – my friends are evil.
Absolutely worst line – “are you a natural blond” combined with a pointed look south, or any variation thereof. Absolutely guaranteed to turn me into an iceberg every time.
2nd worst – “Wow, you are the 2nd most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.” That one is wrong on sooo many levels, I don’t know where to start.
Best line – “Hi, would you like to hang out for a while? I’ve been watching you and you seem like a nice person, someone I’d like to know, my name is ____, can I get you anything?” Mostly ’cause the guy was so sweet and shy about it, and just so cute. Absolutely irresistible. I was out with two of my best friends, who were then roommates of mine, and he was celebrating with his team after a game and somehow they all ended back at our place. I still get ribbed for picking up an entire soccer team.
