    fender blues junior, effects and gigs?

    I am currently looking for a new guitar amp and i have been seriously considering the fender blues junior. I was just wanting to know if it is good for using effects with, as i currently have a VOX wah pedal, BOSS compressor and BOSS overdrive.Also, is it good for band rehearsals and playing gigs with?

    I have the Fender Princeton which is somewhat similar, also 15 watts. Yeah any of those effects will work great with the Jr., just don’t run digital multi-effects through a tube amp as it basically defeats the purpose. I think 15 – 30 watts in a tube amp is perfect. Better bands don’t play with a high stage volume as it makes the mix out front muddy and you get too much mic bleed over. That is a great choice for an amp, you’ll just mic it at larger venues.
