Will a vintage,say early 70′s Gibson Les Paul Custom have any reliability problems compared to a new one?
I could buy a Gibson Les Paul Custom from the early 70′s,or I could get a new one.I was wondering if there was anyone out there who had experience with vintage guitars and their reliability(neck problems and the such).The guitar has to be tough enough to withstand everyday use and road use.Thanks
Les Pauls are renown for their durability. If it has been kept in good shape there should be no problems with playability. A early 70s Les Paul would be a great instrument and could be valuable too. If it is in good shape I would prefer the old one over the new one
