What’s my best decision in repairing my Les Paul guitar?
A week or so ago, I was playing my Les Paul and leaned it against the chair while I got up to go to the bathroom. When I closed the door, my guitar fell off balance and hit the floor. It snapped off the D string tuning peg. I can fit it back into place easily, but it will not stay without me holding it there.
Any suggestions on repair or what I should do?
Like Alex said, a Les Paul is too expensive of a guitar (any Gibson is, for that matter), to just try and repair yourself. Take it to a REPUTABLE luthier and have it fixed. If it’s just a tuning peg without Grover tuning locks, then it ought to be a minor repair and not cost as much.
In future- BE MORE CAREFUL and invest in a stand!
