Is it my guitar? or my tuner? – PLEASE HELP!?
Ok, so im new to acoustic guitar, and i picked up a electric tuner.
I know my strings in order should be E, A, D, G, B, E .. but when i have the tuner on, and i am trying to tune a certain string, it says i am playing the wrong letter.. so i check if im strumming the wrong string.. but im notbasically, the string im strumming isnt matching the letter that is showing up on my tuner
For Example: I try to strum a G note on my guitar, but when i look at the tuner, it says I am playing a D note
OR
i am trying to play the A string, but the tuner says its a B notecan anyone please tell me why? or how i can fix it?

Have you tuned your strings in the correct order?
Starting from low E, that’s the string (6th) closest to you if you are right-handed.
A is the next thickest string (5th)
D is the next (4th)
G is the next (3rd, last wound string)
B is the next (2nd)
E is the next, the furthest away from you(1st) the thinnest.
If it’s still a problem, take your tuner back and get the shop to check it.
