How do I change the guitar strings with this type of bridge?

I did this once and I badly damaged the guitar. I don’t want it to happen again.
Do this on one string at a time. If you release all of the strings and there is no tension on the fretboard, you may damage the neck.
1] Loosen 1 string using the tuner (perhaps start with the first ‘E’ string until the string is loose and you can remove it from the tuner peg hole easily. Then when the string is free, let it drop through the bridge hole or gently push it out of the bridge hole. Completely remove the string and put it in a plastic trash bag.
Then take the new string of the same size (they are usually color coded or marked), feed it up through the bridge hole so that the ball ending on the string remains at the bridge hole as the stop.
Lay the string over the fretboard and then insert into the tuner peg hole and loop it through and tie it off. Then tighten the string using the tuner winding until the string becomes fairly taught. Make sure it’s over the fretboard indents properly. As the string tightens, pick it up between two fingers and snap it a couple of times to allow it to stretch slightly. Then finish tightening the string.
Remember not toloosen all of the strings at once. Do the same with the other strings and then when done, use a tuner to tune the 6 strings.
Once they are tuned, lightly snap the strings with your fingers at around the 3rd or 5th fret again and make sure they are seated.
Then re tune. Then start jamming! Have fun
