I have an acoustic, but I really want an acoustic electric.

Is the guitar a solid top?
Is it a good amp?How’s the deal overall?
If I shouldn’t get these value packs, what other recommendations can you make for a guitar and amp?It looks like a pretty good buy.
The top is a solid top, and is made out of spruce (albeit not fantastic quality) so it should have good tone and sturdiness.
The amp is pretty reasonable, it’s basically a typical practice amp with basic features. Realistically if you want to find a really good amp you would have to buy one seperately.
Overall the deal seems pretty good. The price is cheap and the guitar is made by a well-known brand. If you really want a serious gigging guitar in a low price range you would be best with a brand like Takamine or a Masterbuilt Epiphone. As for high quality amps Kustom, Crate and Aer all make very good (but some are expensive) amps.
Really though, if you want a simple beginners guitar you can’t go wrong at that price.
Epiphone are a reputed brand and are good quality instruments. I say go for it and buy =)
