Squier affinity strat Pickup ?
Hi I’m a musician what I mean I love music and play several instruments and I just got very deeply into guitars especially modifying them to eventually help out others and mybe get money from doing it. My question is, I have a squier affinity strat and I wanna learn how to change pickups so imma get something good I want a blues sound I know wood makes a differance too but in general, I am thinkin about getting the CS Texas Specials for now and eventually getting pearly gates bridge pickup changing my bridge pickup from single coil to humbucker is this a good setup?
I am a professional recording artist, a pro guitarist with several big-name credits, and I still play my Squier Affinity strat 80% of the time. It has the tone that I love. I have played all sorts of high and low-end Fender strats, and I still prefer the Squier Affinity. I guess its all a matter of taste.
