whats should my first tattoo be?

im thinking about getting a tattoo for my 17th B-Day (which is a year from now i know! but im extremely excited!) im thinking about having japanese kanji for love & hate or life and death for love it’ll have the love insignia on my arm surrounded in flowers and the vines going down my arm until it hits my forearm. and for hate and death i’ll have a Skull in grey shadowed in black with a little red on it with the death or hate insignia engraved in it’s head. i don’t have any ideas for life but hey give me opinions for my first tattoo and whats the cheapest tattoo parlor in chicago because money is an issue

So i’m sure you’ve heard this many of times but a tattoo is for life. A lot of time and consideration should go into this so asking the cheapest place prob isn’t the best idea. The place should be clean, have good recommendations, and good artists. Yeah the price is important but it shouldn’t be a deciding factor. Also depending on the place they may not do it once your 17, it was two days before my 18th birthday and my mom was with me and the place still wouldn’t tattoo me so get that checked out. As far as the design i would go with the first one because to me it just seems better i know not the best answer.
