Tailpiece Pins Needed

  Where can I find the wire that attaches the tailpiece of the double bass to its end pin?
  

  I know many people won’t have a clue about what I’m talking about, but for the few double bass players still around, my “gut wire” (I’ve heard it called that before, but i don’t know) snapped and I need to know where to find a new one. If possible somewhere in Ventura County, Southern California. Also, if I am giving it the wrong name, please correct me. Thanks
