Should I get an electric guitar?
I’ve had an acoustic guitar for a little under a year and have barely learned anything. It’s not that I don’t enjoy it, but I think the guitar I got is too big for me as it is full size.
of course the obvious solution is to get a 3/4 or half size acoustic, but the other problem is it has to be left-handed.
I have had a look around the web but I can’t find any 3/4 lefty acoustics that look nice and have steel strings. they’re all either nylon stringed or a horrible colour (ideally I’d like red, black or purple)
So my question is would I be better off just getting a left-handed electric?

It depends on where you live, but if you’re in the US and want a smaller sized acoustic in girly colours then Daisy Rock should be your first port of call http://www.daisyrock.com/ , they make smaller guitars for girls in mainly effeminate colours.
You may find that you could handle a full sized acoustic but of a different shape. For example, you may have a jumbo guitar, but a concert body guitar is a lot smaller and easy to handle. If your real goal is to play rock then going for an electric may be your best bet, it’s up to you. Obviously an electric guitar is a lot easier to play than a bulky acoustic.
