How much should I expect to pay for an electric guitar?
I really like the fender stratocaster sunburst model
Also, I would be interested in a Les Paul shape arched top model with a pick guard, custom fret markers, 2 tone and volume controls with the humbucher selector near the top of the body and not with the tone and volume controls, like some of the cheaper models.
But when I was shopping on Amazon, I saw that type of Fender model for like $100 and a Les Paul model like I was describing for around $140. However, when I go to the manufacturers websites, the guitars are always much more expensive. Are the guitars on Amazon comparable quality to the manufacturers, or should I save up?Forget Amazon, or even the entire brand name of Gibson. You’re paying mostly for the brand name. Try Rondo Music or Tokai. They make stunningly good copies of Gibson, Fender, or other guitars.
