How to wire a Strat with a push-pull tone pot to turn on/off neck pickup?
I’m trying to figure out how to wire a push pull tone pot to my strat to be able to add 2 new switch positions (neck+bridge and neck+mid+bridge) for a total of 7 positions. I’ve looked up a few schematics (seymour duncan, but theirs is placed on the volume pot, and guitarelectronics.com) but I’ve noticed slight differences in the diagrams and am not sure which is the best or correct way. Anyone have a clear explanation on how to add a push pull tone pot for 7 way switching?
and please, no dumb answers about paying a professional to do it. I know how to wire a “normal” Strat. I’m just trying to learn how to wire a push-pull pot, so I’d prefer the right answer, not the easy answer to the problem.if you cant understand it give it to someone who can .. 50$ for install isnt so bad and u dont have to worry about it
