How Can I convince my parents to buy me a better guitar and amp?
I need a better guitar and my amp sucks and the drums always drone it out at band practice. I want an Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top and a Marshall MG100HDFX/MG412A. The 2 cost $1600 dollars and I have a part time job but I wont get enough money in like 2 years how can I make extra $money$ in the summer or convince my parents to buy it for me?
I don’t see why you can’t compromise and get either the guitar or the amp. in this instance the amp would be a wise choice.
the used market has sweet deals if you know where to look. I got my amp that only had a year of use for 50% less than retail price.
also agile guitars are not that shabby for the money. If you got one of their nicer les pauls and a used amp you could probably spend only like 800 for a very usable rig.
