Yes. Dobro is just another name for a resonator and they come in two different versions–square neck and round neck. The round neck is normally used by people who hold the instrument like a regular guitar while the square neck is normally played while its resting on the person’s lap like a lap steel.
Note that Dobro was originally a brand that made resonators and, like with Kleenex tissues, people started calling all resonators by the name dobro.
