How can I get more members on my fan art site?
I have just created a site: http://www.lombaxes.webs.com/
I really want to gather as many fans of the Ratchet and Clank series as possible, but it’s hard as it’s not as large as, let’s say, the Sonic fan base. Members are able to upload and rate each other’s art, but it will be pointless if there are no members :O I don’t care what level of skill members have with art, I just love community, and people with similar interests.
I am also looking for some affliates for people with the same type of site (anything game related), but I can’t seem to find anyone who are along the same lines as me (as in, just started up, or wanting more members).
I tried to make it look more arty too by drawing the site background and banner in Photoshop. Ah, I need help! :O
How can I promote it? I’ve already submitted in to Linkreferrral, and the major webcrawlers such as Google and Yahoo.Thanks!
Try Bing for example, my website is 33-zone.webs.com and i have a lot of visitors, 10 members, and 19 visitors a day, and i just started. Here search Bing ( a free search engine) and type chat,games,clips and you will see 33-zone as the 1. RESULT so be sure to try that site out. Also try Face book and Twitter the are very good (I got 4 members that way. But here is the best suggestion try placing a paper on your school board (or set the homepage of an internet club, or your school as your website. You will get at least 20 members. by the way, register at my website and paste your site link there, you will be visited!
