What’s better for playing hard rock: SG or Les Paul?
I’m planning on buying a new guitar. I’ve been playing a Squier Telecaster for a bit and i’m just not getting the sound i’m craving. The single coil and neck pick up is just not doing it for me. So i’m thinking of upgrading to Epiphone but what is better for hard rock and classic rock? Here’s the music i usually play:
Black Sabbath, Rush, Led Zeppelin, Queen and once in a while a little heavy metal (In Flames, Amon Amarth, etc)
Either one IMO, the SG is a thinner smaller guitar but both sound great with heavy music. In my band, which is heavy and melodic, 1 guitarist has SG’s and the other has Les Pauls so lol…..yeah,,,the choice is yours really.
