Guitar trade or not? metal/ rock- bc rich?
i like playing metal and rock and my dad has a friend that is selling a bc rich metal master kerry king flying v. i want to know if…
1.) is it a good guitar(sound)
2.) is a yamaha eg112c better(sound)
and 3.) is the bc rich worth the yamaha and about 75 bucks (trade)If the BC Rich was under $1000 new, it’s not worth the price.
Any BC Rich that isn’t top-of-the-line is generally crap, and of shoddy quality.
If you wanna play rock/metal, invest in a new amp first. The guitar should hold you for now, until you can get a new one. Invest in a used Line6 Flextone (the Flextone will hold you a looooong time, longer than any Spider will, usually goes for around $400-$600 used) or a Roland Cube 30. The Cube’s modeling in my opinion is hundreds of times better than a Spider or MG.
If you can get a Flextone, do it. I highly recommend it.
Otherwise, get a Cube, then invest in a new guitar down the line that isn’t a BC Rich
