dyeing hair…?
First, about my hair. It is around 6-7″, straightened daily, and naturally a deep brown-black. I’m mostly Asian, so I’ve got pretty fine hair (as in “not thick”).
I have a few important questions regarding my next hair adventure. Basically, I want to know if it is safe (for the health of my hair) to do this. Here goes:
1) Dye the whole head pure blue-black (basically black w/ a slight blue shimmer). I do this regularly.
2) Get about 1-2 inches (from the ends out) bleached so that I can…
3) Dye the tips electric blue.
I haven’t ever bleached my hair after it’s already been dyed and is going to be dyed again. I was wondering if this is okay to do all within, say, a weekend. Any tips? thanks!!!
PS yea, I know the dangers of using bleach. as long as my hair doesn’t fall out, I have no problem. =D
I almost forgot!!! Is it safe to use a ceramic hair straightener & blow-dryer, and any other styling products on bleached hair right away?Mostly they say to wait a week before any redying, But I’ve bleached and died my hair in the weekend and it was fine. Touching up is where you’ll have problems. After keeping it up for 6 months the part where I bleached and died my hair frizzed and broke off. I had mine starry night black with blood red roots and streaks.
