Beginning Level Recording?
Hello. Right now I’m recording some, I suppose you could call them demos or something like that, and I’m wondering if the technology I’m using is correct. First, I use:
A guitar cable from radioshack
A guitar-mic adapter for the computer from radioshack
Computer Mic
Professional Mic
Small Sony Mic
Second, I use Audacity as a program. So, I’d like to ask, what cheap programs are better than Audacity and easier to use? Is the hard and software I’m using correct?i have been using audacity for the past 5 years for my songs, i simply plug my processer into the line in jack of my computer and record the tracks in stereo. i prefer audacity over all other programs. i have acid pro and cakewalk and i never use them because they are way too complicated. audacity is very powerful and very simple to use. here are some of the songs that i have made over the years using audacity. http://www.bolt.com/Dyereve01
