What music stand should I get?
I have a portable fold-up stand, but due to its edges my dad is concerned that it could poke somebody’s eye out.
So, I’m looking for a music stand that is not fold up? Any recomednations, one with a pencil holder would be nice…
I’m assuming you have one of those music stands where the “desk” part — the part that holds the music — consistist of several thin pieces of metal that fold up. I can see how you dad might be concerned, since these pieces are at eye level for a child. Music should not be dangerous!

It is relatively cheap, and since it is made of aluminum, it should be light so you can tote it around.

This one is heavier and does not fold, so this would be just for home (also, it’s a bit pricey).
