How to humidify an acoustic guitar?
I got a humidifier from planet waves and have a few questions
1. When I wet the sponge should I take out as much water as I can from squeezing it then putting it in the guitar?
2. How many days week or months until I have to humidify again?
3. Is it possible to humidify the guitar too much that can cause damage if so how?
4. Will the humidifier really keep my guitar moist and keep it from getting dry and damaged?
5. How do I humidify the neck of the guitar?
6. Can I tell when my guitar has enough moist?
7. How exactly does the guitar absorb the sponge?I will give best answer to whoever can answer all my questions.
i just keep mine hanging on the wall in the bathroom. it has just the right humidity level to keep it nice and moist. just take off the strings,they will rust or use nylon strings.
