Robotech: New Generation (aka Mospeada) is the greatest Anime. T or F?
The animation is decent for a classic, but what makes it shine is the top-notch storyline. You have a small family of strangers from all walks of life, trying to reach one common goal: to traverse a ravaged Earth and reach the Reflex Point, headquarters of hierarchical alien race who took over the planet. Here they will rendezvous with Rick Hunter’s armada in hopes of defeating the Invid menace.
Story begins with a lieutenant whose entire 1st wave armada is killed (and his fiancee with them). He crash lands in a forest, and is left only with his memories and duty to complete the mission.. as well as a very cool transforming mecha/motorcycle called the Cyclone.
I agree.. It is a Classic. It’s up there in the Top 10 Greatest Anime ever produced. The story line is fanatic and addictive. Here’s my top ten.
