I need help with cocktail attire!?
I’m attending a party at the end of January and the dress code is “nice cocktail attire but not formal” But I have a large tattoo on my arm. I was thinking about picking out a nice dress that matches/complements the colors in the tat. Is this okay? I’ve been to a party like this, there will be a lot of important people around so I want to at least make sure I dress right. Or does it not matter about tattoos? I have another on my leg and my back but those should be fairly hidden by the dress and the nylons.
From what I understand the dress should be simple but elegant, with simple makeup and jewelry. Keep it to a small necklace and maybe a bracelet. Correct? If you have any advice let me know.
Bring a black blazer just in case.
