Ibanez guitar help please?
I have an Ibanez RG4EXFM1 and a locking tremolo bridge. I took it to the shop to get the strings changed for the first time. When it came back I noticed that on the end of the neck (1-5 frets) had a really low action and the other end had a really high action. I checked to see if the truss rod was to tight but it was perfectly straight. Also, when I unlock the nut to tune it it buzzes really bad. It also only stays in tune for about 5 min. Can anyone help me with this?
Maybe it has something to do with the tremolo, let me know.
Also, before I took it to the shop, I took off all of the strings first. I later learned that your not supposed to do that so that may be part of the problem too.
Probably some slipping occurred with the locking-nut. Have it checked out and repaired BY SOMEONE THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY’RE DOING, and then re-adjust your bridge and intonation.
