  Playing cards in Scotland?
  

  I have some family that is traveling to Scotland soon, and I am a collector of playing cards. They would be willing to pick some up for me, but I do not know what to tell them to get. The novelty cards (Scenes from Scotland, Tartan collection, etc.) are not what I want, because they are not actually collectable. What I want to know is what kind of playing cards can be found in a normal drug store or retail store. Bicycle cards? Bee cards? Accro, Aladdin or Massa? I’d like to know so I can tell them exactly. I can’t find anything online. If someone could just point me to where online I could find them, because I haven’t found any stores that post a inventory online.

  If drug stores are called pharmacy or chemists here then you are unlikely to be able to buy playing cards there.

  I would ask your friends to try Newsagents, toy shops, tourist shops and etc.
