I don’t get it. On the 2007 version, the computer was easy to beat on “All American”. This year, it is almost impossible. I always hang in with the CPU, but towards the end of the game, I always seem to have fumbles on kickoff returns, and whenever the CPU has the ball, I can’t seem to stop them. I usually play Dime or Nickel defenses to protect against the pass, but the CPU will just nickel & dime me down the field. Then, when I try to stop the short stuff, they go long on me, even into double coverage.
Can anyone give me any hints on better defensive plays for late game drives? Also, I have some trouble with finding open recievers downfield (not Hail Mary deep, but in normal routes). Could you also give me some hints on the passing game? Thank you, I would greatly appreciate your help.
On offense i always throw quick passes. slants, rb bubbles that sorta thing. A slant will always beat man coverage. Outs will always beat zone. If you see that ur widout is covered by one guy and the safetys are krept up,(run for a while and theyll kreep) hot route him to a fly and touchdown.
Always protect the ball on kickoffs. Dont try anything fancy unless ur guy has tremendously high speed and has alot of strength and breaks tackles.
On defense i run a 3-4 with inside linebackers on QB spy(great against pass and run) and the outside backers on the inside receivers, corners on their man, and safetys in zone. I think that play is in cover 2, im not sure
