Which is a better guitar delay pedal? The Electro Harmonix #1 or the MXR Carbon Copy?
I currently own a roland cube 30x which has some delay capabilities. My guitar teacher recommend slap echo to color my tone plus I like to goof around with cool effects!
What about the Digidelay?In my opinion the MXR Carbon Copy is the best. It sounds great, has great analog tone, and has a nice modulation feature that really enhances the sound. Oh, and it can self-oscillate.
If I remember correctly the EHX #1 is digital, which means longer delay time but the MXR CC I think sounds better.
and as for cool effects, i think you will find the carbon copy to be great for that.
But its up to you, so I would recommend going to your local guitar center or music store and trying them both out side by side.
