cant tune my sas 32 with non – locking sat pro 2 tremolo!!?
I recently picked up an ibanez sas32 which is an awesome guitar but i cant manage to keep it in tune!!! I accidentally dropped it in a face-plant a couple of weeks ago and the high e-string popped which i then replaced. But the tremolo seem to have been pushed back a little and isn’t completely Parallel to the body, when i try to pull on the tremolo arm it is blocked almost immediately by the body than before the accident. Ive read in the manual that “you may have to adjust tremolo height along with string replacement” but i didn’t know if i should adjust the ” arm rotation torque” or the “tremolo arm height… Anyway, when i try to tune it the strings always gets de-tuned when i try to tune the others.
What should i do ?
Which adjustment should i take a shot at ?
I think the reversed tuning helped a little but the problem is still there… Anyway, there is no good guide for sat pro-ish tremolos/bridges…http://www.guitarnoise.com/lesson/tuning-a-floyd-rose/
The Sat Pro bridges are floating tremolos. So they can’t just be tuned like regular flat tails. Heres a tutorial that shows you how to do it.
