I am trying to decide between a couple of relatively high end acoustic guitars and have played several. I love the Gibsons and was sold until I played a Takamine that was half the price, and felt it to be better sounding and easier to play, however the Gibson stands a good chance of increasing in value over time (and sounds great too) while the Takamine does not. I’d like to know peoples thoughts on feel, tone, value for various brands as well as their experiences with various guitars. I am not a pro by any means, just lucky enough to buy the toys I wanted as a kid and could not afford…
