What humbucker pickup should i get for a basswood guitar?
I’m looking for a humbucker pickup that has awesome tone, good for any genre of music and will sound good with a basswood solid body guitar. any suggestions?
Everyone has a favorite pickup, but my favorite humbucker by far is the Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates. I have 8 guitars currently, all but 3 have humbucker’s. My Fender FMT with the Pearly Gates just puts the others to shame, even the Zakk Wylde active EMG’s. I have a Schecter with the Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and it sounds good but not as good as the Pearly Gates in my opinion.
