I bought tracer guitar at auction the other day and can’t seem to find any information on the internet about it.

Thank-youUnfortunately, you have a cheap knock-off guitar that’s known in the community as a ‘faker’, and sometimes, ‘firewood’. Yours, without seeing it, seems to be a Strat copy, but these fakes have been made to resemble Gibsons, Rickenbackers and others while stealing the Tracer name from Peavey, who made legitimate Tracer models in a variety of series, in the US, Korea and China. But the Peaveys are legitimate guitars, if not exactly top-of-the-line.
I hope you didn’t pay more than $100.
