What Gauge Guitar strings to buy?
I’ve been playing electric guitar for a while, and have been wanting to tune down to Drop B Flat, without having my strings sound muddy. I mostly play in Drop C tuning most of the time, and am looking to play along with some Breaking Benjamin (which uses Drop B flat tuning). I have also heard that 11s work very well with drop C, would they work for Drop B, or should I get a different size string?
The only way to find out is by experimenting. Strings don’t cost THAT much, plus if you just use the one, at least you’ll have extras in case you break one or a few. Good luck and keep rockin!
