Wireless guitar soundhole pickup?
I have an acoustic guitar and occasionally need to amp my sound. I don’t want to alter the guitar in any way and was wondering if there is a wireless (battery operated) pickup that would fit across the soundhole?
None of the pickups are wireless, and you could add a sound hole pickup, and plug it into a wireless guitar rig, which usually clips to the strap or your belt. The problem is, a soundhole mount pickup is going to be an eltromagnetic pickup and not give you the true sound of your guitar. I would suggest a Fishman under saddle pickup, it’s not really going to alter you guitar in any way, and it will give you the sound of the guitar you bought. A small hole is drilled into the bridge under the saddle, and you current end pin is replaced with the jack. The area under the saddle is the heaviest braced place on the top of the guitar, and around the endpin is the block which is the strongest point on the entire guitar, trust me when I say, your not doing any damage there, and you really will prefer the sound, and you can still plug into a wireless rig.
