solid top guitar vs. not solid top?
i am looking at the epiphone dr 100 which is not a solid top vs the dr200s which is., but it is also more expensive. what are the differences in tone and sound between the two, and for my first guitar would it be worth it to pay 100 more dollars for a solid top one? does it really matter if i dont get a solid one? they are acoustic.
you should be able to notice a huge difference in tone and sound.
i would definately get the solid top. its worth the money and it will ahve more resale value.
but the tone alone is worth the price tag
