Well i Cant Pick wether i want to play electric guitar or drum set. help
The hardest thing about drums is staying in time, especially after complex fills. I’ve played both for a few years and drums would be a little easier to play than guitar since rock beats for drums are usually more generic than the guitar parts/solos but drums are far more difficult to play in time.
Depending on how far you’re planning on taking you’re playing it isn’t hard to play both, but it is difficult to get to a professional level when concentrating on more than one instrument.
I think that guitar is a better instrument to play solo and far more versatile given your musical interest shift. Drums are more difficult to practice since acoustic drums are so loud. You can play electric guitar at two in the morning if you wanted to and acoustic isn’t usually loud enough to be offensive.
If you decide to play drums the single most important thing is to practice with a metronome at all times.
