Are picks from guitar pick displays useable to play with?
Ok, I dont know if this is a stupid question or not, but I was thinking of getting a slipknot pick display ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Slipknot-Field-Guitar-Display-Limited/dp/B003ID7MF2/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&s=musical-instruments&qid=1289133935&sr=1-9 ) as a Christmas present for my uncle, but my question is this: are the picks actually useable to play with, and should you use them, or are they just meant for display?
Thanks, Jenna xPicks are picks. The description said that the display comes with 10 real plastic picks (and 90% of all guitar picks are made out of plastic) so I’d assume that they’re playable. The thing to remember is that picks wear when used so using them will mar the display. Also, you’ll notice that it says that the picks are attached to the display. They may not come off so easily.
