Blackouts In Epiphone SG-310?
would it be worth it to put in my SG it plays pretty well but im looking for a metal sound I have a couple diffrent amps and pedals but they dont do the job looking for that machine gun deep sound, or should I get a new guitar and put the blackouts in that guitar if so which one…ESP? which model Ibanez? Jackson?
well the thing is , to get a metal sound, the pickups are good but it can be done in different ways, a lot of pickups can create the sound .E.g i have a Edwards e al 128 sawtooth(which has an EMG hz) and it is great for metal but if i play my samick copy strat with single coils it can get a simmilar distortion with some tweaking(i made a video on youtube about this check it out if ud like)–my point of saying this, if i were u id get a new amp because most metal sounds start with an amp, but it can be achieeeved in many other ways if u have a “clean” amp.u can get a good distortion pedal,(again youtube),id suggest u not get a guitar because i think ull b disapointed when it wont dish out the sound u want
