Decorating a leather guitar strap?
Hey I’ve got a plain black leather guitar strap and I want to bling it up a bit. I’m not sure what you can actually do to leather. Would it be possible to spray paint patterns onto it? or stick jewely things to it? or even glitter? Because the leather is already “polished” I’m not sure what will stick to it or what will turn out looking alright, and what would be more permanent?
Try using upholstery nail heads (think tacks). They come in brass and silver tones. You might have to put a lining on the back when done (to keep it from stratching), but it would give it a nice “pit bull dog collar” effect.
