Guitar effect hook up question?
i have not yet gotten an effect but i have a question about hooking them up.
II have an amp and a cable that attaches from my amp to guitar. my cable has an extra side to plug in is that the side i would need to plug into an effect, or do i need to buy a another cord.I have no clue how to hook them up, so if someone could explain how to that would be nice

Guitar–>Amp | Send–>Effect–>Effect–>Return
Keep in mind that you don’t need any special cables to hook up effects. A regular guitar cable should do. But to keep clutter down, you may want to invest in a set of short patch cables. Just go to the nearest music store and ask them any other questions you may have.
