I have a Floyd Rose bridge on my guitar. Is there any was to use the tremolo without it getting out of tune?
I brought it to a shop about 6 years ago when I didn’t know jack about guitars to have the strings changed. Those little black things that hold the strings in were thrown out because the guy who worked on my guitar knew less than I did. Unfortunately, every time I use the tremolo it goes incredibly out of tune. Is there any way I can fix this?
Before anyone asks, no I didn’t do anything about the guy because I didn’t realize how badly he screwed up until I moved 12 states away from him.
I think you are screwed, the whole point of a floyd is that it locks at the bridge and the neck, and those little black things are the things that lock the strings.
The good news is that if it is a common Floyd (Sometimes they are just Licensed by Floyd Rose) you can get the parts.
