just bought guitar amp off ebay was told it would work for keyboard i,ve connected it to line out on keyboard l.l/r as instructed no noise any suggestions the amp also has f.m. radio which works o.k.
Make sure the volume is up on the keyboard and it is plugged in and turned on;
Make sure that the cable is inserted fully into the keyboard and amp;
Make sure that the amp is turned on and the volume (it may have a channel volume AND a master volume) turned up.
For a quick check, you can disconnect the cable from the keyboard (but keep it in the amp), turn on the amp, and touch the tip of the cable. You should hear the amp “buzz”. If not, the cable is probably no good.
