Why am i unable to trade my pokemon?
i keep trying to trade my pokemon from my red version to my gold version on two gameboy SP’s. i plug in the silver cable i have for trading them and turn the game on. when i ask the time machine lady in gold it says please wait and then it says the other person isnt ready. on red it doesnt even start the trading process and says this place is reserved for two people who want to trade.
how on earth am i supposed to trade if it wont register the cable??
OH! and i also tried trading between a gold and a silver and that didnt work either and it said the other person isnt ready so i really wanna know why it isnt working
You cannot trade between Pokemon Red, Gold, Silver, or any Gameboy Color games for that matter because you are using a Gameboy Advance system. You need to use two Gameboy Color systems and a link cable designed for them in order to be able to trade between the Pokemon GBC games.
The only Pokemon games you can trade between with the GBA and GBA link cable is Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, LeafGreen, FireRed–all the third generation Pokemon games.
