How much is my guitar worth?
A couple years ago I bought this blue, Glen Burton electric guitar off of ebay and I want to sell it but I don’t know how much to sell it for. I also want to sell my PG-10 amp that I bought with my guitar. The only things I know about the guitar is that it is a shiny blue, a Glen Burton, right handed, it has 2 shades of wood on the arm, it has four knobs on the front (1 volume, 2 tone and 1 stick thing to change the sound, most of the front is white and it is in mint condition because I only played it maybe 10 times. The amp works great, it is black and chrome, with 7 buttons, 1 input, and 1 headphones plug. Please help.
If I had to guess, you probably paid around $100 for the amp and guitar combined. The guitar is usually $60 and that amp, if I’m guessing correctly, is probably a Barcelona amp that cost $39 new…. although, hey, it could be a Pignose amp, which retails around $69 new.
In any case, this is the type of guitar and amp you would learn on, keep for a few years until it either breaks, or you run out of room in your closet so you either give it to a friend or relative, smash it on the ground, donate it, or attempt to trade it in for $10 credit at Guitar Center.
If you sell this as a package on ebay or craigslist, I would list both together at maybe $75 and see if someone picks it up, but be willing to negotiate down to $50
