4/4 Violin with only 1 fine tuner?
I just bought a full size (4/4) violin a couple of days ago. I have just noticed that there is only one fine tuner on the violin. My other violins all have 4 fine tuners. All of the violins that I have bought have the normal 4 pegs on the top. My question is..how do you tune a violin with only one fine tuner? Is it better to have 4 fine tuners or just one? Thanks

You tune it with the pegs, by the time you’ve been playing for a year or so this should be so natural and ingrained that a fine tuner is not necessary. If you’re unsure of how to proceed ask your teacher for help.
It’s typical for violins to have only a fine tuner on the E string. While it is often a convenience to have the fine tuner, they can also alter the acoustical properties of the violin.
