Take a look at the Takamine Dreadnought guitars. For that money, you will be getting a top-notch guitar with excellent finish and sound.
The fretboard and playability and sound projection is in one word…AMAZING.
It has a good re-sale value and the sound gets better with age. I own a Gibson dove, Martin, Ovation and a Takamine and, Takaminie has its won particular sound. i have the Acoustic-electric version which I can play through an amp or acoustically without losing or affecting the sound quality whatsover.Here is a link….

I would check the single cutaway. They give you more flexbility in the higher end. I solo a lot so found it necessary to access high notes like on electric guitars.
