Fret File Double

  Ovation Celebrity CSD225-BCB fret-buzz?
  

  Sorry for the cross-post – I mistakenly posted this in the Rap & Hip-Hop section…
  I have an Ovation Celebrity Deluxe Double CSD225-BCB. On the 6-string I have two annoying fret buzzes. The 1st is on the top E at the 4th & 5th frets, the 2nd is on the G string at the 14th fret but only when you bend the string up (to A# or B).
  My first thoughts were that the previous owner had removed the shims under the bridge pickup (although I haven’t checked) but after a bit of googling it may be the some of the frets need filing down? I am pretty certain this isn’t something I will be able to do myself so where is the best place to take it and any idea how much? Or is it likely to be something else?
  I am near Manchester in the UK.

  Frets can rise up from the fretboard irregularly.
  Usually if you have fret buzz it’s the next fret up being to high
  occassionally it’s the fret itself that is too low in a certain area.

  Take the instrument to a qualified tech,
