My guitar pickups aren’t working.?
I have a Jackson (can’t remember the exact name, it has floyd rose, reverse headstock, and a black strat body) I have EMG’s installed on it (81 on the bridge and 85 on the neck) and when I went to go play it it doesnt make any noise. First thing I did was switch between the pickups while playing and turning them on and off, nothing… I replaced the battery with a good one (turned out the one in it wasn’t even dead) and tried it on my brother’s amp which all worked fine. I also tried playing other guitars on my amp which all worked. Does anyone know what could be causing this or any suggestions on how to fix it?
You can try and remove your 1/4″ plug and make sure that one of the wires didn’t come off. If that looks fine then I’d open the guitar up and check to make sure that any wiring wasn’t damaged. Especially the battery housing. Good luck.
